2010 Rocheux Pinot Noir
The Rocheux cuvee is sourced from the rockiest portion of our estate vineyard – the warmer Western slope, an area high in content of broken volcanic basalt. Comprised exclusively of 2 clones – Dijon-777 and Pommard – these blocks are naturally warmer each season due to their Southwestern-facing exposure. The late-afternoon sunlight heats the rocks below the vines, resulting in character and ripeness unique to the fruit sourced from this side of the vineyard.
