2017 Rocheux Pinot Noir
Crafted from fruit originally planted in 1999, the 2017 Le Cadeau Rocheux Pinot Noir is a delicious example of wine produced from stressed vines in warm, rocky soil. Small berry clusters result in stronger color, aroma and flavor, making a rich wine that ages gracefully.
Awarded 93 points by Wine Spectator: "Tightly focused, with precise raspberry, orange peel and smoky forest floor accents that build tension toward broad-shouldered tannins. Drink now through 2026."
Awarded 92 points by James Suckling: "Impressive, suave, spice and dark- cherry aromas here with forest-floor leaves and dried flowers. The palate has a smooth and sinewy edge with some meaty nuances, as well as dark cherries, carried on rich tannins. Drink or hold."
