2019 Pierre Reserve Pinot Noir

A very limited cuvee of Le Cadeau Pinot Noir produced with Pierre Millemann, an oenologist from Nuits-Saint-Georges who has worked with many top wineries in the US and Europe. The grapes were sourced primarily from Calera and Dijon clones on the Eastern side of our vineyard, estate plantings of Vosne-Romanée clones, and the various heritage clones found throughout the Southern blocks

Awarded 93 points by Vinous: "The 2019 Pierre Reserve is a spice box, wafting up with a seductive mix of ground cloves, incense, white pepper and dried violets, all complementing wild blueberries. This displays textures of pure silk, taking on a spicy personality as tart wild berry fruits and hints of sour citrus saturate throughout. It leaves a staining of primary concentration, finishing long and structured with a balsamic tinge that lingers under an air of rosy inner florals."
