2022 Le Cadeau Chardonnay

The 2022 Le Cadeau Chardonnay is crisp, mineral-driven, with just a touch of oak – all in perfect balance. Its distinguished character is a result of exceptional farming and the diverse heritage clones planted throughout our estate vineyard. We utilize six unique clones grown in volcanic rocky soil to bring these attributes to our Chardonnay. Harvested late-September 2022, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel before being transferred to two 500-Liter puncheons for one year of aging, followed by an additional 5 months in stainless steel on lees.

Awarded 95 points by Paul Gregutt: "Ripe pear and orange melon fruit flavors are accented with barrel toast and a streak of caramel. The acids keep it lively and frame a lingering, palate-soaking, utterly delicious finish."
