2022 Trajet Reserve Pinot Noir

The Trajet Reserve Pinot Noir is a journey for Le Cadeau Vineyard. In both the vineyard and the winery we set no limits – all possibilities are open. The 2022 vintage represents our seventh bottling of Trajet Reserve. We harvested Eastern-facing heritage and Dijon Pinot Noir clones in late September that were fermented with 64% whole-clusters. After aging for 16 months in French oak, it was bottled unfined and unfiltered on February 20th, 2024. It is deep and complex with luxurious tannins that anticipate very long-term ageability.

Awarded 94 points by Vinous: "Darkly alluring, with nuances of grilled herbs and crushed rocks complicating dried black cherries. Silken pliancy defines the palate, with dense textures offset by citrus-infused red and black fruits. Balsam herbs and tart blackberry cascade across the palate as it tapers off structured and long."
